Academic Advising & Plan of Study

Introduction:

This is a study plan of MBA program in my master period which connects the business theory with reality and advocate real-world learning. In the table below, it demonstrate what courses I will take, how many credits they have, when I could take the courses and so on. As my major classes starting at October, this plan is still need to be discussed with my teachers whose contact is still not shown yet. However, I have contacted my advisor who is helping the new student to apply MBA program, more details coming up will be confirmed. Therefore, below is an example table showing my classes beginning in Fall 2015. Each class has three credits and the total credits are 48 points. After the table, the basic programs’ requirements are illustrated which includes the goal of our studies. This plan may be upgraded depending on starting the major classes.

Learning Goals:

  • Teaming & Leading: Our graduates will demonstrate the team leadership and interpersonal skills needed to form, lead, and work effectively on diverse organizational teams.
  • Analytical Decision Making: Our students will demonstrate the ability to analyze uncertain complex management situations using appropriate tools, techniques and information systems for decision-making.
  • Knowledge of Functional Business Disciplines: Our graduates will demonstrate knowledge of all core functional areas of business and an ability to integrate them into a meaningful firm level perspective.
  • Communication Skills: Our graduates will demonstrate written, oral and presentations skills necessary to explain problems and solutions effectively and persuasively.
  • Law, Ethics, and Social Responsibility: Our graduates will demonstrate knowledge of the legal and ethical environment of management and business social responsibility.
